Committed to reduce waste
At Lento we are commited to reducing waste in analog photography by reusing discarded film canisters.
By repurposing these canisters, we not only help to minimize environmental impact but also lower production costs, making analog photography more accessible and sustainable.

Analog Photography, Sustainably
This initiative promotes eco-friendly practices by extending the life of materials that would otherwise be discarded, contributing to a circular economy within the photography community.

Every roll of film captures memories that matter, and film labs work with dedication and love to bring those images to life. Yet, behind the scenes, this process leads to the disposal of countless film canisters.
Our mission is simple but powerful: locally repurpose these discarded canisters, drastically cutting down the environmental impact of producing new ones and the costs tied to packaging and shipping.
With our innovative re-spooling system, we turn what would be waste into reusable film cartridges, breathing new life into them. This circular process allows us to close the loop—where the film’s journey once ended, it starts again.
By embracing reuse, reduce, and recycle,
we’re paving the way for a more sustainable and eco-friendly model of analog photography.
